HOUSTON — Miguel Andujar sat out again Friday with a strained hand and wrist and manager Aaron Boone didn’t rule out a stint on the injured list.

“We’ll see,’’ Boone said of making a roster move with Andujar, before the Yankees’ 4-0 win over the Astros Friday night at Minute Maid Park. “We’ll have to make a call after [Friday]. We’ll see if he’s available.”

With Andujar sidelined, Tyler Wade started in left field, with Brett Gardner in center.

Andujar’s absence adds to the Yankees’ lack of depth in the outfield, as Clint Frazier is also on the IL with vertigo, according to the Yankees.

Reggie Jackson, now an adviser to Astros’ owner Jim Crane, was on the field before Friday’s game and spoke with several members of the Yankees, including Boone. He left his special adviser role with the Yankees earlier this year.

Boone said he was unaware of the Astros’ fan giveaways scheduled for this series at Minute Maid Park, which included a replica 2019 AL Championship trophy Friday, a replica 2019 AL Championship ring Saturday and a replica Jose Altuve jersey Sunday.

The Astros beat the Yankees in the 2019 ALCS, with Altuve ending the series with a walk-off homer off Chapman in Game 6.

There were also accusations the Astros’ continued to cheat in 2019 following their sign-stealing tainted 2017 ALCS win over the Yankees and ensuing World Series title.

“That’s their prerogative,’’ Boone said of the timing of the giveaways.

Luke Voit didn’t play a day after being hit by a pitch on the right hand in Seattle. Boone said Voit was “good to go” and the first baseman was rested because he was “a little beat up this week.” Voit was also hit on the knee by a pitch on Saturday.

With Voit out, DJ LeMahieu started at first and Rougned Odor started at second.

Gerrit Cole said the Players Association met with MLB to discuss how umpires check pitchers for foreign substances. The checks have since become “more discreet,” according to Cole.

Derek Dietrich reportedly signed a contract with the Nationals. He had been at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after signing a minor league deal with the Yankees during the offseason.
